I'm currently developing and designing a bespoke portfolio site to display my work in the future.

I have been working from a blank slate with pure HTML and CSS, along with jQuery, and I've used Jekyll to create a simple back end. The site is being designed with responsive design in mind, and can already mostly scale from desktop to mobile with little hassle.
The current version of the site is built around dynamically recolouring the elements on the page based on each project. The site includes lazy loading to ensure page loads are rapid on all devices, and an animated filtering system to easily sort though projects.
I made the choice to develop my site from scratch so I had more freedom with how the website functioned, but also for the pure challenge of coding a project of this size.

Here are three screenshots from the live version of the site.
(please note that neither the code or design are final at this moment!)
